欧米でのFacebook利用者は飽和へ

San Jose Mercury News: Facebook's growth in U.S. slows, as overseas growth ramps up

Even as Facebook closes in on its 600 millionth user, its growth in the United States and parts of Europe is slowing and may be approaching the saturation point, meaning its future increase in users will be ever more dependent on the developing world.

• 米国におけるFacebook活用者は1億4600万人。加入が認められる12歳以上の人口の55%を占める。
• 新規利用者獲得が困難になった米国では、既存加入者の利用率を高めたり、利用を中止中断した人達を呼び戻す活動が重要になる。
