There is bad news for thousands of customers waiting to get behind the wheel of the all-electric Nissan Leaf.

Nissan says it is months behind in delivering the new car due to longer-than-expected production time.

The 20,000 customers who pre-ordered the $33,000 plug-in vehicle may have to wait until May or June instead of getting one this month or next.
